The single performance will be from
11.00am -1.00pm on Good Friday on 6th April 2012; it is hoped it will be possible to make a recording for
those unable to join the ‘Walk’.
The performance will follow
approximately the usual route of the annual ‘Walk of Witness’ supported by the
Five Churches of Charlton Kings, and each act will be directed by a different
Director. Act 1,
primarily in Holy Apostles Church and Car Park, will be directed by Janet Honeywill; Act 2, in Sacred Hearts Hall and Garden by John Palmer; Act 3, primarily in St Mary’s Church, by Helen Roberts; Act 4 in the Precinct by Tony Jeans, and Act5,
primarily in Grange Field, by Kieron Davies and Peter Grainger.
Apart from the role of ‘Josh’, no
other parts have been pre-selected, so there are opportunities for everyone
from 16 to 60 plus. We are sure it’s going to be a ‘once in a lifetime’
dramatic opportunity for the ‘Community Players’ and the whole community.
