Announcing our next production:

‘Treasure Island – almost a pantomime’

by Stewart Auty, directed by Debbie Dundas (Director) and Keith Mead (Musical Director).

We are holding a taster session to sing some of the songs and discuss the production on 22nd January 2019 in the Lounge at the Baptist Church, CK at 7.30 pm and I hope you will be able to come along and find out more about the production.

Auditions will be held in the Baptist Church Lounge on Sunday 27th January from 2.30 – 4.30 pm and Tuesday 29th January from 7.30 – 9.30 pm.

There are 15 main parts – some of whom need to be happy to sing solo or in a small group, but there are parts for non-singers too. There are also lots of pirates of all ages who will sing in the chorus – these are mainly female.

The songs include ‘The Admiral Benbow’, ‘Wild Rover’, ‘Sailing’ (Rod Stewart), ‘Money, money, money’ (Abba),’What shall we do with the drunken sailor’, ‘Lily the Pink’ and ‘Blow the man down’.

There are also openings for Production Team members so do get in touch or come along if you are interested in being involved.

More details of the play can be found on the website in the full length plays section.

Performances and final rehearsals are the week of 27th October – 2nd November 2019.

We do hope you will be able to come along on the 22nd January to find out more, and to take part in this production. A copy of the poster is here in case you know of someone who might be interested in taking part who hasn’t been in a CKCP production before or not for a long time!
